These fireplace pictures come to us from a customer in Palm Springs, CA. We created a custom aluminum fireplace surround and Starfire fireglass.
These fireplace pictures come to us from Rodney in Texas. He used Starfire fireglass, Amber topper and a custom fireplace surround. Very nice install.
The first one starts with a brick face and Clear fireglass base. But then he gave his fireplace a face-lift adding some black granite and someClear Ice topper. And now we have an even nicer fireplace!
Here is the 2nd fireplace with a Clear base fireglass with Bronze on top.
our customer converted his fireplace and he sent us his self install photos. Here's how it strated out, dirty ugly and very un-Moderustic. But with a little stove paint and a new moderustic burner progress is on its way! He then added some lava rock to start building his base.
Finally he added some Green base fireglass,Green Reflective fireglass, andlava rock filler.
This install only took 30 minutes. First install the burner and test the flame pattern. Test the flame on high and low to insure the flame goes straight up and does not hit the walls. After masking and painting we turned the flame on low to heat the paint to dry it quicker.
Turn the light down low to see the flame pattern as you will have the light down low with your evening fire. The pipe burners can be adjusted to the desired effect. The lava rock was added
And then we test the flame pattern once again. Pour 2" Starfire and your done.
The fireplace below has a steel pan underneath to conceal the 12 volt remote control. We used a Clear base glass and topped it with a Starfire base glass and then added Amber Diamonds on the surface.
You can see the front plate that was painted to match which is removable if and when necessary to change the batteries. The legs were 4 1/2" and the pan was 2" tall. The removable front metal curtain was 6 1/2" tall.
The fireplace below started out a little bland and with a little metal work and some of our fireglass it turned out pretty nice. The Fire glass used was Starfire and Red Topping.
The Fireplace God below is a very unique fireplace in Huntington Beach. Black , black reflective, red topper and red topping.
